About the Event

Women’s full and free access to health care is a human right as well as an economic right. Denial of choice is associated with less economic opportunity for women and lower incomes for themselves and their families. Extremist anti-choice laws run the risk of decreasing college graduation rates for women, increasing poverty rates, and burdening families and communities. The increased health care costs, including worsened health outcomes, burden women and their families and forces redistribution of resources within our economy When we deny women full control of their reproductive lives, we choose, as a society, to harm women’s health, depress economic growth, damage our international competitiveness, and as a result, reduce economic opportunity for all of us. Closed captioning through Zoom will be available. Please contact cait.v@grrnow.org if you have additional accommodation requests.
