Join us at 5:00pm on Thursday, September 26th, to protest an anti-abortion fundraiser being hosted at the Union League Club of Chicago. Specifically, the fundraiser we are protesting benefits Aid for Women, a network of anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) in the Chicagoland area.
Two new anti-abortion CPCs have opened in the city of Chicago over the past year, bringing the total number to five. You read that correctly–there are FIVE anti-abortion centers in Chicago. Not to mention that there are at least 97 in the state of Illinois, a number that continues to grow as anti-abortion groups target abortion seekers coming to our state to access medical care. Anti-abortion CPCs are running The Worst Festival of All Time, and we’re calling on all people who believe in bodily autonomy to join us in protest.
